Woohooo, first post on my blog!! It's funny really, I thought I would never be the type of person to have a blog. It's kind of on the same lines of having a diary, which I have never been in to. But given that one of my passions is writing (some of my work is on nzgirl.co.nz) it makes sense that I would be into this stuff.

I suppose as the first blog entry I should really give you a small insight as to who I am, and to explain the unusual name of my blog. My name is LouLou, I live in the city with two flatmates, two gorgeous russian blue kitties and have recently acquired a huge portfolio of small businesses... well maybe not huge but I am certainly on my way to becoming a serious business mogul.

The name of my blog... not really rocket science but for those that don't know me, I am obsessed with the colour pink and my the paint mix that I will be painting my bedroom soon is 70% Baby Pink and 30% Cotton Candy. Trust the paint people to come up with fluffy names for paint! Anyway, as the paint colour was top of mind when I created this blog, it seemed fitting to spend as little creative energy on the title and get down to the content. I know, so far we don't have anything special. Stay tuned though... it can only get better...
